the Town of Xiao Tang Shan lies China's National
Aviation Museum, a cornucopia of airplanes and navigational
curios. It is the largest aviation museum in Asia
with an area of a thousand Mus (Chinese unit of
area). I t boasts more than 200 airplanes of over
100 types and more than 700 samples of weaponry
including SAMs, radars for aerial defense, navigational
bombs, navigational cameras and so on. Among these
collections, there are nationally cultural relics
and internationally navigational curios, both with
their experience of out of the common. |

 Towers

in Silver Mountain are located in the east of Ming
Tombs, just 30 minutes' drive from Jiuhua Spa &
Resort. It has that the snow covering the mountain
in winter is as white as silver, hence its name.
It's also said that people call the cliff "ferrous
cliff" because they are all black. So "Silver
Mountain" and "Ferrous Cliff" is
taken as a whole. On Silver Mountain there was a
temple, with towers in and around, famous hierarch
Deng Yinfeng in Tang Dynasty sermonized there. |

 Ming
Tombs |

Ming Tombs is located at the south foot of Tianshou
Mountain in Changping District of Beijing, covering
an area of more than 120 square kilometers. It is
30 minutes' drive from Jiuhua Spa & Resort.
High mountains, trees and rivers surround it, pleaching
a beautiful picture. The whole cemetery construction
first built in 1409 starting with Chang Ling and
ending with Si Ling is resplendent and magnificent
with red wall and yellow tiles. In the history of
as long as 200 years, there have been thirteen emperors
buried here, hence the name. It has great historical
and cultural values since it has been reserved intact
and that it is the very royal tomb that buries the
most emperors in the world.

 Python
Mountain National Park |

is within the touring area of Ming Tombs, just 25
minutes' drive from Jiuhua Spa & Resort. Python
Mountain gets its name after its undulate figure
with its peak of 659 meters. National Park boasts
five miracles. Firstly, 176 sorts of trees form
a forest ocean with a coverage rate up to 86%. Second,
the Buddha carved with stone, welcoming guests from
all over the world with his big smile, is the largest
Buddha in Beijing City. Third, the longest climbing
path in Beijing is consisted of 3666 steps. Fourth,
there are tallest archaized tower in Beijing and
colored cloister on top of the mountain. Fifth,
the lake on the top of Python mountain is the largest
man-made peak lake in China. |
